Whirled Peas Home Parties are held in the client’s home kitchen. The only supplies needed are 4–6 friends, plates, and silverware for your party.  Whirled Peas will bring the rest, including the food. 

 

All classes are hands-on and will include instruction and original Whirled Peas handouts and/or recipes. Cost will be based on number of guests and class choice. Menus can be adjusted for specific dietary needs.  All menus will focus on real, whole, unprocessed foods that are organic whenever possible, and can be customized to fit your needs.

 

Here are just some of the party ideas we can have in your home:

Knife Skills

Learn about the different types of knives, how to slice, dice, mince, chop, and more, like a chef. Learn proper sharpening and care of knives.  Improve your speed and proficiency in the kitchen by developing proper technique.

 

Seasonal Menu Classes

Prepare an appetizer, entrée, side, and dessert using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

 

Use Your Bean

Learn how to use the nutritious, delicious, versatile, and economical bean to create several dishes.  Even dessert!

 

Wrap It Up

Students will be taught how to prepare delicious and unique wraps appropriate for lunches, dinners, or entertaining.  Using a variety of fresh, seasonal ingredients, we will learn and practice knife skills, improvisation, and presentation.

 

Mediterranean Sampler

Prepare and enjoy some authentic dishes such as roasted garlic hummus, dolmas and greek quinoa salad.

 

A Taste of Japan

Experience a Japanese meal, complete with Miso soup, sushi rolls, and more.

 

Warm Up with Winter Soups

Prepare and share several hearty soups that make a warm and filling meal.
